We are offering this amazing tour for a special price, due to the generosity of an anonymous donor.

Escape for the day to the San Diego Safari Park, an expansive, 1,800-acre wildlife sanctuary nestled in San Diego’s scenic San Pasqual Valley.  This world-renowned preserve is home to more than 3,000 animals representing 293 species and offers a window into the “wilds of Africa”. The Africa Tram is included for those who prefer not to walk to all the exhibits. It is a narrated tour across vast field habitats where rhinos, giraffes, gazelles and other large animals roam freely in massive, multi-species environments. There is an optional guided “Safari Cart” which takes you closer to animals. It is an additional discounted cost of $50, and must be reserved by September 29.

The Safari Park is a vast, accredited arboretum and botanical garden featuring more than 1.3 million plants representing over 3,700 species. Your adventure continues in Australia, a backcountry area shaded by eucalyptus trees where you can walk among kangaroos, wallabies and catch a glimpse of the rare and unique platypus – the only place outside of Australia where these remarkable creatures can be seen! The Park’s newest marvel is Elephant Valley, an immersive habitat that allows you to walk alongside the herd, connect with these gentle giants on an entirely new scale, and become part of a movement working to secure their future for generations to come. With approximately five hours in the park, you can explore animal exhibits and dine at your choice of the Park’s scenic eateries.

This tour involves extensive walking.
