The LBCC Office of Outreach & Recruitment employs President’s Ambassador attending Long Beach City College to assist with community engagement and outreach to local schools. President’s Ambassador represents the college by providing campus tours, participating in community engagement events, and visiting local high schools where they assist students with learning more about LBCC.

The Long Beach City College Alumni Hall of Fame was established by the Associated Student Body Cabinet in 1972 to honor former students who have excelled in their professions. The first ceremony inducted three individuals, and each year since, three to five more have been added. What began as a small on-campus event has grown into a major off-campus celebration hosted by the LBCC Foundation to recognize the achievements of its distinguished alumni.
