The leadership of the Lifetime Learning Center is excited to announce the campaign to build the Mary Thoits Endowment – a permanent fund that will provide annual support for the programs of the Lifetime Learning Center into the future.
Under the leadership of former Long Beach Mayor Beverly O’Neill, the goal of this campaign is to raise $1 million for the benefit of current and future LLC students and programs.
You may contribute to this fund with an outright gift or pledge or make a contribution in your estate plans.
Your charitable support allows the Lifetime Learning Center to provide dynamic, exciting classes and trips at an affordable price.
- Over the past several years, donations have let us:
- Provide scholarships to low-income seniors so that they can participate in our classes and programs
- Engage exciting instructors and launch innovative classes
- Hire professional staff leadership to ensure all participants in the Lifetime Learning center have a high-quality experience
- Provide healthy aging lecture series
The goal is to keep our Lifetime Learning Centers students engaged mentally, physically, and socially.
