oin us as we look behind the scenes at the history and lesser-known stories of some of the greatest Broadway musicals and their film adaptations—Man of LaMancha (the Tony-award story of Don Quixote, including “The Impossible Dream”), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (one of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s earliest musicals,) In the Heights (music/lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of Hamilton and Oklahoma), and Part II of Wicked: For Good. There will be one more surprise musical. All films are shown on two huge state-of-the-art screens in Dyer Hall.

Exploring Your Ancestry
Gail Carter is a retired LAPD detective who specialized in financial crimes. Although not a certified expert, she has spent over 40 years researching family histories for herself and others. Her tools include: Ancestry.com, FamilySearch.org, Newspapers.com, Fold3, Local Family History Centers (LDS Church), DNA databases, AND THE Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.
We will spend the first session talking about the resources available and the second session we will research on the websites AND ADDRESS YOUR OWN BRICK WALLS IF TIME ALLOWS.

Build strength, improve balance, and move with more confidence in this beginner-friendly, low-impact workout designed for the needs of the aging body. Using a sturdy chair for support, we’ll focus on functional movements that help you stay strong and independent in daily life, whether it’s getting up from the couch, reaching for a shelf, or simply enjoying your favorite activities with more ease.
This is more than just a workout, it’s a holistic approach to well-being. Participants also receive bi-weekly emails with simple, practical tips on mindfulness, hydration, nervous system health, nutrition, and more to support your body and mind between sessions.
All levels welcome. Come as you are, and leave feeling stronger.
